Sales Tax Policy 
Internet vendors are required to collect sales tax in any state where the company has a physical presence or is registered to collect tax, thus we charge sales tax in New Jersey and New York only. Credit Card Authorization
When you place an order with us, we authorize your credit or debit card to ensure that sufficient credit is available at the time of purchase. A hold is placed on funds in the amount of your order total until the order is fulfilled. The time required to remove the authorization, if your order is canceled, is determined by the financial institution that issued your card. The estimated time needed for the various methods of payment are as follows:

Order Cancellation Policy

Once an order has shipped we are unable to cancel it. If your order has not yet shipped, you can request a cancellation by logging on to your account or by calling us at 201-795-3448. Please be ready to provide your name and the order number. Every effort will be made to accommodate the cancellation of your order as long as it has not yet shipped. Please note that if the item has shipped, the order cannot be canceled.

Out of Stock And Backorder Items

Our inventory can fluctuate throughout the day, so an item indicated as in stock when you place your order may, in fact, be out of stock. In this event, we make every effort to contact you by email or phone immediately to notify you that your order will be placed on backorder. You will have the option to cancel the order if you would prefer not to wait for the item to be in stock again. Your credit card will not be charged until the backordered item arrives back in stock and is fulfilled. Most out of stock items are in stock again within 2-4 weeks, but certain items such as new and end of life products can take longer or may never become available, in which case we will cancel your order and your card will not be charged. Certain items for sale on our site are not kept in inventory, but can be special ordered for you and shipped within the timeframe specified on the product’s detail page. These items will have the 'Special Order' indication.

ONLINE ACCOUNT REGISTRATION

Registering at Zin Home makes your online shopping faster and easier. Your billing and shipping information is securely stored with us, so you won’t need to enter it each time you place an order. You will also be able to login to your account to check the status of your orders and your order history, as well as create a gift registry. You can add, delete or change your registered information at any time using your password.

OPT OUT PROCEDURES

When you create a Zin Home account, complete an order, or sign up for newsletters, you provide us with your email address. Using this information, we send marketing emails about our products, services; contests and promotions that we feel may be of interest to you. We may also contact you with reminder emails about items you have left in your shopping cart. Each time you receive an email from us, you will be given the opportunity to opt out, or stop receiving them. Simply follow the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email or contact us to remove your name from our mailing list.

PROTECTING CHILDREN

We want to take special care to protect the safety and privacy of our children. Our website is not intended for use by, nor do we knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. We urge parents and guardians to participate in their children’s online activities and use parental control or other filtering technology to supervise children’s access to the web.

POLICY CHANGES

Efforts to bring new services, ideas and partners to benefit our customers may make it necessary to amend our Privacy Policy. If this occurs, we will post the new policy on our website. Once posted, the new policy will go into effect immediately, replacing any previously stated policy. Our policy was last updated in April  2015.
